About

RSP Consulting was founded by Rotem Skurnik Pool. Rotem spent her career
in various sales and marketing roles in the Consumer Electronics Industry.

Ms. Pool spent 14 years at SanDisk (recently acquired by Western Digital NSDQ: WDC) and M-Systems. For the past 9 years, she was in charge of Strategic Sales in the Americas for the Retail Division. In this role she had two main objectives: delivering on net revenue and gross margin goals and driving strategic growth initiatives Management of net revenue taught her how to walk the line between sales growth and profitability management. As challenging as that line is, she loves maximizing business results by managing the ongoing tension between the two. She managed a large scale retail business, with over $1B in annual revenue across channels and with large customers such as Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Amazon, Target, Costco and others. She had overall responsibility on the profitability of the regions managing all pricing, programs and planning.

But her true passion is in managing growth initiatives. In that role, Rotem lead various strategic initiatives that drove sustainable growth. Among her responsibilities:

  • Amazon: Rotem managed the implementation of SanDisk’s Amazon strategy and went on to oversee the dedicated team that managed the day to day activities at the account (sales, pricing, analytics, channel marketing, operations).
In this role, Rotem learned the platform in depth, driving over 600% growth over a span of 4 years. She also understood how to manage that growth while effectively dealing with channel conflict concerns.
  • Latin America: Rotem worked on growing the region from insignificant sales to becoming the market share leader in the region.  Rotem worked on building a strong regional sales and marketing team, infrastructure and distribution network to support sales in both the Retail and the SMB markets and the correct pricing strategy needed for the region.
  • Solid State Drive: Rotem drove the Retail strategy for this growing market, doubling market share within 8 months and becoming a prominent player in the field.

Prior to that position, Rotem was a Sales Director at M-Systems (acquired by SanDisk in 2006), managing various customers throughout her sales career (IBM, Dell, Kingston, Memorex, Best Buy). Prior to M-Systems Rotem was the Director of Marketing for a web streaming company and an analyst at a Venture Capital firm. She served in the IDF as an intelligence officer and holds a dual BA from the Tel Aviv University Schools of Economics and Business Management.
